Celebration of International Museum Day 2015: Museums for a sustainable society

The event organised by the History Museum of the Greek Costume of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women 'Seaweeds for silk ribbons', is about Greek clothing and accessories for the eco-logical and social consciousness.

The exhibition-presentation is a first approach to the ecological dimension of timeless clothing and aims to raise public awareness of environmental protection issues.

Greek fashion designers put their "eco-logical footprint" presenting creations made from 100% organic materials and fabrics certified by international organizations. At the same time, they give a new approach to stock fabrics, rags e.t.c. through the practice of reuse.
